    I'm trying to adopt the design for Russian language. I have to change some fonts because they are not contain Cyrillic glyphs.

    To achieve that I tried to change Special Heading Typography in Site customization. unfortunately, it seems like nothing were applied:

    Btw, changing font fails for Special Heading Typography only. Other 2 fonts seems to be changed fine.

    Hello

    That is the Title element. You should edit the page, open element setting box to check custom selected font that it using.

    Thanks

    Unfortunately it was first what I tried and it doesn't help.

    Custom heading with "Use theme font" setting enabled also doesn't work. Only disabling this option and selecting necessary font helps. But it is not what I expecting to see, actually. It is just workaround, and not very useful.

    Inline images are not working here as I see, so I added the attachment.

    Hello

    Please try switch to use Custom Heading element to set up custom font for the text if you want.

    I will notice the developer to check the Title issue now.

    Thanks

    I'd like to point developer's attention to another Title issue: color feature also doesn't work.

    As I investigated it caused by generated script error which would change the color:

    <script id="custom-style-5e8399b908591" type="text/javascript">(function($) {$(document).ready(function() {$("head").append("<style>#insight-title-5e8399b908589{style='color: #9e30c9; border-color: #9e30c9'}</style>");});})(jQuery);</script>

    It seems like previously they were updated element inline styles directly, now they are try to modify corresponding style by element id, but forgot to remove part of older code:

    style='

    Or it was caused by merge error.

    I was investigated theme source code and as a result was able to fix this issue partially:

    1. I've removed all entries from wp_options table with name contains "kirki". As a result some fonts erroneously referred to my local environment were fixed and stay displayed;
    2. I've performed some modifications in Custom CSS, forcing "Caveat" font displaying. It is definitely workaround and must be fixed on framework side.

    Open questions for a moment:

    1. I have no idea how to specify custom secondary fonts without changing framework's source code (I mean to have something like font-family: "Caveat", "Segoe Script", cursive, sans-serif;);
    2. Changes in Special Heading Typography have no effect, I have to use custom style instead;
    3. "Caveat" still not displayed in "Custom heading" font list, I have to use custom style instead;
    4. Changes in H2 Font size have no effect, I have to use custom style instead;
    5. And header coloring is not working.
